Read the passage and answer the questions that follows

How to Prepare Jollof Rice

Ingredients

• Cooking oil
• two Targe Onions
• Six large tomatoes
• five red peppers
• Salt
• Spices
• two cups of rice
• three carrots
• 9 roast chicken

Instructions

1. First, wash all the vegetables thoroughly,
2. Then peel the onions and slice them carefully
3. Blend four of the tomatoes with the Peppers to make a smooth paste.
4. Add the onions to some hot oil in a pan and stir in the paste and the remaining two tomatoes, finely chopped
5. Next, add Spices and salt to taste and allow the sauce to simmer for 15 minutes
6. Rinse the rice in cold water and then add it to the sauce.
7. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes.
8. Before the rice is fully cooked, add the chopped carrot and continue to heat the dish gently.
9. Once the rice is soft remove it from the fire and Serve it with roast chicken
10. Enjoy your Jollof!
