How to Prepare Jollof Rice
Ingredients
- Cooking oil
- two Targe Onions
- Six large tomatoes
- five red peppers
- Salt
- Spices
- two cups of rice
- three carrots
- 9 roast chicken
Instructions
- First, wash all the vegetables thoroughly,
- Then peel the onions and slice them carefully
- Blend four of the tomatoes with the Peppers to make a smooth paste.
- Add the onions to some hot oil in a pan and stir in the paste and the remaining two tomatoes, finely chopped
- Next, add Spices and salt to taste and allow the sauce to simmer for 15 minutes
- Rinse the rice in cold water and then add it to the sauce.
- Cover and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Before the rice is fully cooked, add the chopped carrot and continue to heat the dish gently.
- Once the rice is soft remove it from the fire and Serve it with roast chicken
- Enjoy your Jollof!
